What We Do

Collaborative Platforms

Envirolution builds collaborative platforms to bring various groups and individuals together to broaden their collective impact and ultimately facilitate the advancement of sustainability.

A collaborative platform is any initiative where multiple parties work together for a common goal. This can be in the form of a project, a campaign, an event, a workshop…any platform that encourages cooperation. Envirolution works as an umbrella organization to facilitate participation and collaboration from all interests. We manage the creation and implementation of these platforms. Guided by the principles of Educate, Unite, and Take Action, our platforms provide the off-line and online platform, network, and forum to enable anyone to join the effort.

We use a collaborative structure because the issues we face are complex and cannot be addressed in isolation. Stakeholder engagement from as many interests as possible is needed to most effectively address issues like climate change and poverty. Our platforms are structured using a comprehensive approach to bring together everyday citizens, businesses and organizations as well as government agencies. These collaborative platforms serve as a unifying space to connect these interests behind a common goal.

As a result of the multiple stakeholders in the game, our platforms allow participants to focus and contribute using their specific expertise. This type of approach encourages many different stakeholders to share resources and increase efficiency because they are working together as a team to benefit themselves, their community, their environment, and their local economy. This collaborative approach also encourages a more energetic and exciting atmosphere around the cause and can create a swell of momentum. This in turn leads to catalyzed action towards the sustainable change we are looking for.

Our collaborative platforms include:

  • Website: A highly interactive, wiki-based website that serves as a platform for education, ideas, and action.
  • Events: An environment that fosters collaboration and brings education and awareness to a community.
  • Programs & Projects: Open platforms for anyone to use their talents to develop ideas that help drive solutions.
  • Clubs: A network of local action groups in schools and communities that empower members to drive sustainable progress by spearheading programs, projects and campaigns.
  • Campaigns: A community wide effort to make real progress on a single issue or strategy.

Our objectives are to:

  • Offer educational opportunities on sustainability and the Three Spheres
  • Facilitate green jobs, workforce development, and entrepreneurship
  • Encourage collaboration across generations, demographics, and sectors
  • Develop and support youth leadership
  • Provide resources, platforms, and training for increased participation
  • Engage businesses in the process of change
  • Build a brand and culture around a fresher and more broadly appealing version of sustainability, and
  • Foster a network of individuals, businesses, and organizations dedicated to working collaboratively to achieve sustainability.
